There's still lots to do tonight so I'm gonna keep it short and sweet and since I'm on the computer that has the broken sd card slot I'm just gonna borrow Pinterest pictures today. :)
Today I made my first project for our little girl. This is a project from a sewing book that I could buy, but this is the only pattern inside the book that I liked so I'm not gonna waste the money or space to buy the pattern. So of course I figured I could just wing it. And...it turned out alright. I used scrap fabric from a pair of pants, some ribbon that came on something else, a couple Christmas bells, and waalaa. I will put the picture up in another post. Of course, mine are not as cute as these below, but hey, it was free! :) and...I'm gonna give it another go and see if I can make a cuter one later.
This is the other project I have started that I found off Pinterest. I'm on about row 4 or 5 right now (still at the top white part), but I think it's a definite possibility I could finish it before she comes. Just got to buckle down.

Oh my goodness! Both are so so cute! I just bought a book called 'The Cuter Book' and it has patterns for tons of little animals, letters and holiday stuff like Christmas trees and pumpkins. It's for felt but I don't have any and got the idea just now from reading your blog...maybe I could use old t-shirts and scraps of fabric as well :) Anyways, I plan to make a mobile and decorations with these patterns and your blog has really inspired me!
