We started solid foods a week before Logan was six months. I was determined to hold out until exactly six months, but realized Logan had been ready for a long time already and I was only holding out "just because" I wanted to make it to the six month mark as suggested by all the nursing big wigs. In other words, it was just my pride saying to wait so I finally broke out the rice cereal and offered it to Logan.
Logan took to it like a fish to water.
Although things looked not so good at first:
The grimace before trying any food at all!
Still some concern, but hey it's not so bad.
I got it Mom! I know how it works. You're not going fast enough!
And now...
Happy and full baby. Are we ready for a haircut yet?
Prunes
Squash
Carrots
Peas
He will easily eat a whole 3.5 oz serving of these in one go.
We have yet to try:
green beans
bananas
apples
Logan's not so favorites:
Pears
Sweet Potatoes (from the baby jar as well as the ones I made for him)
Now we just have to get some teeth...
