Elena's 3rd Birthday Shots

I'm hoping to get back up and running on the blogging front again.  I had an excuse with Anthony not having any night classes for the first time in three years (!) which gave less time and then I was having morning sickness and fatigue to help ice the cake. So I might be doing some catch up for some summer pictures and early fall stuff. 

Here are Elena's 3 year old Bday shots.  I took a bunch on her actually birthday but not one had a good smile.  Maybe I will blame the cake and sugar.  :) 
I recently retried our photo shoot and got these lovely pictures and actually got one printed and put up on the wall before posting them on Satopia!  How about that!

 Elena is definitely one beautiful and spunky little girl. She has so much character.  The checkout lady at the grocery store asked her name and Ellie said, "I'm Elena.  That's what they call me every day."

 She likes some of the girly things but also plays swords and "destroy the bad guys" with her big brother.  She often puts the sword down her own shirt before running down the hallway in full hero mode.  Different front when Logan used to do it to her as a baby.  See this post for that.

She's definitely one beautiful and sweet little girl.
