At one year old Jolie can say about 7 words: Uh oh, Mom, Dad, dog, duck, and I forget the other two I counted... :/
More recently she said "star" and tried to say watermelon. Can you tell she REALLY likes watermelon?
Her favorite foods include cucumbers, apples, said watermelon, strawberries, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, cheese, Indian curry, carrots, chili, potatoes. But the downside to this list is that she's not into much more than that. :)
Jolie is the most contented baby. She rarely EVER cries. She is tough! She can get hurt and not make a sound sometimes. She is happy when she wakes up too. She only fusses when she is tired. Just recently she has started to scream when she wants something (like when someone bigger takes a toy away, etc), but this is usually most likely to happen when it's almost bedtime.
She is my late crawling baby - didn't crawl until 11 months rather than 8 months like the other two did. She pulls herself up very well but still doesn't walk along furniture or even while holding your hand. On the upside, I haven't had that odd worry about her pulling up in the crib and not knowing how to get down. She seems to only take on tasks she's really comfortable with.
Jolie is so much fun and the kids love when she crawls down the hall to play with them in their room. She likes to stand on Logan's bed and look out the window since it's the only window she can reach.
