January

Logan
Logan has also started talking in three word sentences now.  He's learning colors, numbers, and every word he can.  He can spit out anything you tell him to say.  It's raining this morning so we had lots of fun saying the words "thunder" and "raining" while looking out the window.  He knows a good number of body parts:  ears, mouth, eyes, nose, hair, head, belly, belly button, toes, arms, hands, etc.
He's a little monkey.  He can reach anything in the house these days.  If you can push a chair over to a counter then nothing is safe there.  He can climb on the table faster than I can say it.
Turtles are his favorite animal.  Dinosaurs are up there on the list too.  He loves puzzles and quickly masters them.  Noodles of any kind, pastas to ramen, are his favorite food.  When I asked him who was in the spaghetti picture above he told me "Noodles."  He knows his name and can tell you when you ask or when you ask who it is in a photo.  "Moman!"
Logan is eating most foods on his own now.  This makes a lot of mess, but the dog loves leftovers off the floor (thankfully).
He's dropped his morning naps and is switching to regular milk now.  We haven't seen any reactions to the milk on his skin like before so it looks like we might be good to go.

New Baby
We're at 18 weeks with baby number 2.  I've been feeling lots and lots of movement since the end of week 15.  Everything is looking great so far.  It's fun to have the nurse brag that you're her patient to the other nurses because you're numbers, etc. are exactly where they should be.  The nurse at the hospital did that with Logan because he was the cutest baby in the nursery (her words, not mine).
Our ultrasound is scheduled for the 13th of February so stay tuned for that one.

This has been a super warm winter for us.  It's snowed only twice and both times were only a 1/4 inch.  I'm enjoying it quite a bit, but a little concerned for experiencing my first real hot weather while pregnant.  It might be a long June for me.  :)

I'm trying to get a good routine for cleaning the house.  I know part of the issue is that Logan dropped his morning naps so I have less time to clean without someone undoing the work right underneath my feet.  :)  We're also getting a long list of "to do's" to accomplish before this little one arrives in the very beginning of July.

February looks more full than January:
Valentines dinner
Saturday morning Men's meeting at church
Anthony interviews for a teaching position at AI
We finish one Bible study and are starting to form an adult group at our church
Anna and Logan fly to Phoenix (aka Anthony has a week of gaming to himself) :)

Until next time!
