October
October has been busy with the normal activities for us. Anthony has taken on a freelance art job for a friend which has him animating again. I started teaching Sunday School to the 3-4 year old group at the beginning of October and I'm enjoying that quite a bit. It's been a while since I've taught. The end of the month brought our Reformation Day Chili Cook Off and Bonfire at church. There were 10 or more entries of chili and Logan was able to run around with a glow stick necklace that someone brought for the kids. We also made a trip to the zoo.
The Little Guy
Logan has become engrossed in books. He loves them. He'll listen to the same one over and over again or we'll cycle through several board books in a sitting. Recently, since he's been sick and teething I'll leave one with him in the crib so he can read before falling asleep.
Next to books, he loves watching Curious George with Daddy for 15 minutes before going to bed. Last night we went to a Library sale and scored a Curious George board book for 25 cents. He had me read it to him 5 times before bed and when he woke up he wouldn't leave the crib without it.
Logan loves music and will dance to just about anything, including catchy radio commercials. This morning he sang the word "alleluia" with the music when dancing to the "Wee Sing More Bible Songs" cd that Grandma gave him. It really shocked me at first, but he has been soaking things up like a sponge. When he hears a sound he tells you what it is. If a dog barks he'll tell you it's a dog and then he'll usually mimic it. When we're outside playing and he hears the train horn he says "choo choo." There are currently two very frequent public service commercials on the radio with the sound of thunder in them and Logan loves to tell you when he hears the thunder. Although his word for thunder sounds nothing like it.

Sounds like Logan knows how to keep you on your toes! :)
